Jack + Hollie

Bride and groom kissing after their wedding outside of morpeth town hall

Where it all began, my first wedding!

To say the least, the nerves I had for this day were through the roof but not as bad as what they could have been. A family wedding, my first time being in this situation, heavily underprepared and overstressed. Luckily it was a family wedding and I had a photographer, Olly, friend from college by my side who acted as my second shooter, which was needed.

All that stressing for nothing, after about an hour, the nerves were gone, the drinks were flowing and it felt like I was just there as part of the family, rather than the photographer as well. Other than the fact Jack and Hollie both said they weren't bothered about a photographer, I had to give it my all and not pass it off as it was nothing. I took photos for about 8 hours total and drank about 6 then drank some more when finished, only because I can't miss the chance on a family party because we sure know how to go all out.

Thankfully, the photos throughout the day, and night, even without a flash turned out to be quite well, photos I still even use to this day. So if you're in my situation, go easy on yourself, it's not actually that bad once you get into the swing of things.
